Venturing down Fifth Street in Downtown Redlands almost two decades ago, you would have found many small businesses between State and Citrus. One of these businesses was a petite, non-descript jewelry store called Redlands Jewelers.

Brian joined his father, Dave, at Redlands Jewelers in 1998. Since earning his Graduate Gemologist degree in 2000, he has been committed to maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship and service that define the family business. In 2020, Brian became the owner, continuing the legacy with the same passion and precision. Beyond his professional achievements, Brian is a devoted family man who enjoys boating on the river, jeeping, and piloting aircraft. His adventurous spirit extends into his community involvement as an active member of the Rotary Club of Redlands. Brian's dedication to his family, business, and community exemplifies his commitment to making a positive impact in every area of his life.

Dave Ahlers

Dave Ahlers took ownership of Redlands Jewelers in 1995, continuing the legacy of a store that has been a community staple since 1971. With over two decades of experience as a bench jeweler before acquiring the business, Dave transformed the small 600 square-foot space on Fifth Street into a renowned destination for quality jewelry repair and custom design. His motto, “A happy customer is a return customer,” has guided his approach and contributed to the store's enduring success.

Although Dave now travels frequently, he continues to share his expertise part-time as a graduate horologist specializing in clock making. His commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction continues to define the spirit of Redlands Jewelers.
